Scott Donovan has dedicated his career to teaching, coaching, and player development. Prior to entering the golf industry, Scott spent many years in professional baseball, building a strong foundation in athlete development, competition, and performance before transitioning to golf full-time.
As a PGA Professional at Heath Golf & Yacht Club, Scott brings a wealth of experience both as a coach and accomplished player. He enjoys teaching golfers of all ages and abilities, from beginners learning the fundamentals to accomplished players seeking to elevate their performance. His teaching philosophy focuses on creating a positive learning environment while helping each student develop confidence, consistency, and a lifelong enjoyment of the game.
In addition to his instructional experience, Scott has competed successfully at the highest levels of professional golf. His accomplishments include winning a Senior PGA Section Championship, a Senior PGA Chapter Championship, and multiple Chapter events. He has also qualified for the Senior PGA Professional Championship, competing against some of the top PGA professionals in the country.
Scott remains passionate about growing the game through junior golf programs, player development, and member engagement. His unique combination of competitive success, coaching expertise, and genuine enthusiasm for helping others makes him a valued instructor and mentor for golfers of every skill level.
